And so, here is a phrase that we think that would be good for you to roll around in your mind on a pretty regular basis: "I will mind my own business." Because you cannot vibrate for another. And the thing that causes the most discord in teachers' energy is wanting something for someone else and not having the ability to shift the energy of the other - but holding the other as their point of desire. So when you really really want something to be better for your daughter, or better for your mother, or better for a friend - better for somebody you care very much about, and you converse with them often enough that they've activated their desire within you - but you can't ALLOW for them. Though the clarity of your example you can allow for YOU, but you can't allow for them. So, now you've got yourself in this trap where you want something that you cannot do anything about. And so, we say to you, if you can't do anything about it - and that falls with everybody - that means everybody - if you can't do anything about it then it truly is none of your business. You see. If you CAN do something about it, then it's your business. So, you can feel better about the way your friend feels, but you can't do something about your friend feeling better. You can do something about how *you* feel about how she feels, but you can't do anything about *she* feels. When you make it your job to change the way someone feels, oh - you get so out of balance. Because you begin summoning on their behalf - it falls into the category of answering questions that aren't being asked. It's like pushing a noodle and frustration begins to build within you. And so, what we would encourage you to do - and this is - what you've said to us here today speaks it all - you feel very good when you fixate on something you can do something about. In other words, if you're not really busy doing something that you can do something about, people will suck you in to all of their drama and all of their trauma. In other words, if you're not busy, your phone will start ringing with things that will make you - will keep you very busy because you want to be busy. All of us need an active calling. And if you have not identified goals of your own, you will find yourself trying to fulfill goals of others. And you cannot do it because you cannot vibrate for them, you see. That's big. That's the biggest thing that you will ever hear from us relative to interpersonal relationships. You have to be selfish enough to mind your own business. So when someone says, "You justdon't care. You just don't care - that's why you're not getting involved with this - that's why your eyes are glazing over when I'm giving you the nitty gritty details of it." In response to that you say "It isn't that I do not care, it is thatI can't do anything about it. And it tears me apart. You activate this very powerful desire within me on your behalf and I can't change the way you feel. I can't change your point of attraction. And I'm tortured in this process." You see. "And so out of self survival - and call it selfishness if you want - I have decided to turn my attention toward things that I CAN do something about." And there are others that will say "Well that's very selfish." And we say, it must be, because you were not given the vibratory range to vibrate for others. You cannot attract health to others, you cannot attract wealth to others, you cannot attract relationships to others. You can't stop their problems. You can just live the example of being in alignment and then help them to understand how you do it."

"Generally speaking, those who advocate health food sor natural foods subscribe to some of the same overall beliefs held by your physicians. They believe that diseases are the result of exterior conditions. Quite simply, their policy can be read: `You are what you eat.' Some in this group also subscribe to philosophical ideas that somewhat moderate those concepts, recognizing the importance of the mind. Often though, some strong suggestions of a very negative character are given, so that all foods except certain accepted ones are seen as bad for the body, and the cause of diseases. People become afraid of the food they eat, and the field of eating then becomes the arena. Moral values become attached to food, with some seen as good and some as bad. Symptoms appear, and are quite directly considered to be the natural result of ingesting foods on the forbidden list. In this system, at least, the body is not insulted with a bewildering assortment of drugs for therapy. It may, however, be starved of very needed nourishment. Beyond that the whole problem of health and illness becomes simplistically applied, and here food is scrutinized. You are what you think, not what you eat – and to a large extent what you think about what you eat is far more important. What you think about your body, health, and illness will determine how your food is used, and how your chemistry handles fats, for instance, or carbohydrates. Your attitudes in preparing meals are highly important. Physically, it is true, but again generally speaking, that your body needs certain nourishments. But within that pattern there is great leeway, and the organism itself has the amazing capacity to make use of substitutes and alternates. The best diet in the world, by anyone's standards, will not keep you healthy if you have a belief in illness."

"I am saying this as simply as possible. There are profound complications beneath my words, however. Opposites have validity only in your own system of reality. They are a part of your root assumptions, and so you must deal with them as such. They represent, however, deep unities that you do not understand. Your conception of good and evil results in large part from the kind of consciousness you have presently adopted. You do not perceive wholes, but portions. The conscious mind focuses with a quick, limited, but intense light, perceiving from a given field of reality only certain `stimuli.' It then puts these stimuli together, forming the liaison of similarity. Anything that it does not accept as aportion of reality, it does not perceive. The effect of opposites results, then, from a lack of perception. Since you must operate within the world as you perceive it, then the opposites will appear to be conditions of existence. These elements have been isolated for a certain reason, however. You are being taught, and you are teaching yourselves to handle energy, to become conscious cocreators with All That Is, and one of the `stages ofdevelopment' or learning processes includes dealing with opposites as realities. In your terms, the ideas of good and evil help you recognize the sacredness of existence, the responsibility of consciousness. The ideas of opposites also are necessary guidelines for the developing ego. The inner self knows quite well the unity that exists."

Allergies
Questioner: Any idea about what are called allergies? Would that be...
Bashar: Rejection.
Q: Rejection is what I was thinking
.B: That's a very generalized answer, but that is the generalized foundation to most concepts of allergic reaction. It is the concept of rejection, or the concept of not belonging, in that sense. Not fitting in, or perhaps, also in some cases the idea of compartmentalization. Because the idea of thinking of yourself as a collection of parts will cause the different parts that you have created yourself to be to operate at different frequencies; which can more easily, by being a collection of parts, become discordant with each other, causing also the effect you call the allergic reaction. Does that make sense to you? Because you are not functioning harmoniously as a single whole idea. So the more you fragment yourself, the more some of the fragments can get out of step.
This out of step vibration can be experienced in a number of ways, but one of the most common among your species is what you call allergic reaction.
Q: So to correct that would basically be to consider yourself more as one large unit with many facets, rather than many parts?
B: Yes. And, of course, more than conceive of yourself - behave as though that is true.
Q: And how would one do that?
B: The idea of course, is to start simply in answering this question, by having a picture of yourself and your behavior in any given situation and then ask yourself: "If I were really behaving in the way I'm most excited to behave, if I'm really being the person I'm most excited to be, if I were really doing the thing that I would really be more excited about doing, would I be behaving differently than the way I'm behaving now? Would I be doing this situation at all? Would I be doing this situation differently?" If there is a difference between the picture of how you behave now, and how it is that your most excited self would behave, then that tells you exactly what to mimic.
Q: In other words, be yourself?
B: In other words, be the most excited self you can be, and by being that you will automatically attract to yourself the things that are representative of the things you need to do, that are representative of your excitement. And the things you don't need to do, that are not representative of your excitement, won't be in your life and won't need to be done.
Q: And you won't be rejecting anything because you will be having what you want.
B: It will simply be a one to one correspondence of reality to the frequency that you give off. It will not be a matter of rejection, it will be a matter of not having attracted what doesn't belong to you.
Q: And then trying to fight it off.
B: Correct. Because that only compounds resistance, which, again, compounds the allergic reaction, because that is all it is - resistance to the whole self, the natural self.
Q: So, of course, it would be excepted and welcomed by an environment -as well as accepting the environment.
B: Well, accepting yourself in totality first. Because then you understand that anything that you would call an environment will simplybe a reflection of the you that you happen to be at that moment.
Because there is no outer reality. That's what reality is, there is NO reality. That's reality.

Bird Flu
"This is a very large issue, and highly complex. So far, apparently, approximately 68 to 70 people on the face of this entire planet have died from the apparent cross-breeding of the avian flu virus with the human virus gene, and that should be sufficient to set the entire planet on its ears. Now, without sounding crass about it, who stands largely to benefit from this? HELENA: The pharmaceutical companies. LIDA: (Largely inaudible, but Lida mentions the government)KRIS: These two and many more, but largely overall, Big Pharma stands to gain enormously from it and any governments that are entirely to be found as supporters of government policies. And since many western world governments have substantial holdings with the pharmaceuticals in one way or another, the juggernaut engines of the government will be kicked into full gear to press the population into fear mode to increase the sales of vaccinations almost of any kind in hopes of staving off a pandemic. And this of course must be done under the guise of caring for general public health. Now this does not mean that all individuals involved in those fields are uncaring and callous, but they are all caught up, deeply enmeshed, in the belief structures that involve the medical profession at that level. This serves layers and layers of purposes for all of those involved in that kind of scenario clear across the planet. And there are many people that have a knowing that this is not an issue that they need to feed. It does not mean that they pretend it does not exist, but they have already programmed themselves in one form or another that the enemy is not a virus, but that FEAR is the terrorist in this case, a psychological fear. They have, one way or another, already programmed themselves through their belief structures either that if it happens, it will happen, or that nothing will occur. But they do not chew their nails to the bone worrying as to WHEN -- not if, but when -- they will die from it. And that does make a difference. They are not indifferent to the potential; they have no desire to lend it further energy as to become part of THEIR reality. Again it does not mean that they ignore it, they deny it, they pretend it does not exist. They will acknowledge it as a potential reality, but it may not be the reality that they will create for themselves. And as we suggested, this is a complex issue. There are many probabilities swirling about and the consensus reality has yet to be determined, but it does not override your own choices. How many of you have been around family members, some of which have gotten the flu at one time or another and you did not manifest one single sneeze? And how many times has it occurred that you seemed to suffer as Job, while those around you did not sneeze once? Should it not be that if you all live in the same environment, you should all have the same condition? Or is it that somehow or other viruses can select their targets? Do they sit at their table, Napoleon-like, and move their human pieces and strategize as to whom will get it tomorrow? And what army of viruses will attack? Indeed not. We are then suggesting that this may be far more overrated and that potential stocks of pharmaceutical companies may be over-inflated at the moment and the next quarter may not bring the expected increases and yields. "Objects are the symbols.
You usually think of them simply as realities.
You think of thoughts, images and dreams sometimes as being symbolic of
other things, but the truth is that physical objects are themselves
symbols. They are the exterior symbols that stand for inner experience.
There are therefore, mass physical symbols upon which you all agree, as
well as private personal symbols.
The whole nature and structure of physical life as you know it, is a
symbolic statement made by groups of entities who choose to work with
physical symbolism. So the body is a symbol for what you are, or what
you think you are-and these may be two different things indeed.
Any physical ailment is symbolic of an inner reality or statement. Your
entire life is a statement in physical terms, written upon time as you
understand it.
Once you understand the symbolic nature of physical reality, then you
will no longer feel entrapped by it. You have formed the symbols, and
therefore you can change them. You must learn of course, what the
various symbols mean in your own life, and how to translate their own
meaning.
To do so, you must first of all remind yourself frequently that the
physical condition is symbolic-not a permanent condition. Then you must
look within yourself for the inner actuality represented by the symbol.
The same process can be followed regardless of the nature of the
problem, or of your challenge.
Your intimate physical environment is, therefore a symbolic statement of
an inner situation…
…The environment is always altered from the inside. There is instant
feedback between the interior and exterior conditions, but the mobility,
the necessity and the method of changing the physical environment will
always come from within."

“These ancient dreams were shared to some extent by each consciousness that was embarked upon the earthly venture, so that creatures and environment together formed great environmental realities. Valleys and mountains, and their inhabitants, together dreamed themselves into being and coexistence.
“The species – from your viewpoint – lived at a much slower pace in those terms. The blood, for example, did not need to course so quickly through the veins [and arteries], the heart did not need to beat as fast. And in an important fashion the coordination of the creature in its environment did not need to be as precise, since there was an elastic give-and-take of consciousness between the two.
“In ways almost impossible to describe, the ground rules were not as yet firmly established. Gravity itself did not carry its all-pervasive sway, so that the air was more buoyant. Man was aware of its support in a luxurious, intimate fashion. He was aware of himself in a different way, so that, for example, his identification with the self did not stop where his skin stopped: He could follow it outward into the space about his form, and feel it merge with the atmosphere with a primal sense-experience that you have forgotten.
“During this period, incidentally, mental activity of the highest, most original variety was the strongest dream characteristic, and the knowledge [man] gained was imprinted upon the physical brain: what is now completely unconscious activity involving the functions of the body, its relationship with the environment, its balance and temperature, its constant, inner alterations. All of these highly intricate activities were learned and practiced in the dream state as the CUs [consciousness units] translated their inner knowledge through the state of dreaming into physical form.
“Then in your terms man began, with the other species, to waken more fully into the physical world, to develop the exterior senses, to intersect delicately and precisely with space and time. Yet man still sleeps and dreams, and that state is still a firm connective with his own origins, and with the origins of the universe as he knows it as well.
“... In a fashion those ancient dreamers, through their immense creativity, dreamed all of life’s creatures in all of their pasts, presents, and futures – that is, their dreams opened up the doors of space and time to entities that otherwise would not have been released into actualization, even as, for example, the units of consciousness were once released from the mind of All-That-Is.
“All possible entities that can ever be actualized always exist. They [have] always existed and they always will exist. All-That-Is must, by its characteristics, be all that it can ever be, and so there can be no end to existence – and, in those terms, no beginning. But in terms of your world the units of consciousness, acting both as forces [waves] and as psychological entities [particles] of massive power, planted the seeds of your world in a dimension of imaginative power that gave birth to physical form. In your terms those entities [particles] are your ancestors – and yet [they are] not yours alone, but the ancestors of all the consciousnesses that make up your world."
